The central mission of American College of Medical Technology is to provide an educational career program designed to prepare students for employment in the allied health fields. In support of this philosophy, the College is innovative in its curriculum, seeking to offer programs where jobs are high in demand. The College is employment-intensive in its focus, and responsive to employers' needs. The College's philosophy is that the students' interests are always the highest priority.

Certification Programs

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program is one of the most rapidly developing diagnostic imaging modalities. The MRI program is a 1570-hour program comprised of two modules and an externship. The first two modules are taken on site and include the study of human anatomy and physiology.

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography(Ultrasound)

Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or ultrasound, uses high frequency sound waves to create visual images of internal structures in the body for medical diagnosis. Sonography is used to examine many different areas of the body without making incisions or injecting radioactive material into a patient.

The 2-month Phlebotomy Technician Program is designed to teach clinical and research laboratory procedures and techniques integrated with the principals of Life Sciences. Laboratory tests play an important role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of many diseases.

Medical Laboratory Technician Program is designed to teach clinical and research laboratory procedures and techniques integrated with the principals of Life Sciences. Laboratory tests play an important role in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of many diseases.

 Degree Granting Programs

Bachelor of Science in Imaging Technology

Combination of MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray and other digital image technologies are throughly covered along with fundimental medical knowleges are taught. pre requisite course works are required: A nationwide shortage of imagning tech workers is expected to continue through at least 2010.

Bachelor of Science in Health-Care Management

Students who have an associate degree or significant transfer credit in a health science field and wish to pursue an individualized health science program can draw from a broad base of coursework to complete a B.S. in allied health studies.To qualify for admission, you must meet the requirements.

ESL Programs

English as a Second Language Prepare English competency of grammar, vocabulary, reading, composition and verbal communication. American College ESL programs will give international students a vast opportunity and background of understanding American culture and its meaningful life.
